Dear Colleagues,

ISCAR 2011 Rome Congress is nearby and we would like to give you the latest news (useful directions for your attendance):

1. on September 6th 2011 a general strike is going to be called out. Quite surely many means of transport will get delays and cancellations;

2. It is necessary that you bring your ISCAR 2011 registration receipt pdf to the registration desks. Our staff will take it back and you will receive the delegate pack (containing the General Program, an Update sheet, a pen, a pencil, a note-block, a pendrive with the Congress’proceedings and the certificate of attendance). Shouldn’t you have your registration receipt for some reasons, we will be asking you to show a document in order to be sure we are matching the registration to the correct person;

3. Lunch: as reported in the previous newsletter, we will provide a "buffet-lunch" service (at Frentani Congress Center, Via dei Frentani, 4) at a very cheap price (8€ for each person, per day) including a choice of first courses, main courses with coffee and water. If you are interested in buying the lunch ticket for the whole Congress week, the total cost is 30€ instead of 40€. For every companion the lunch cost is 15€. Every participant is required to pay cash;

4. There are 27 places left for the Social Dinner (September 8th 2011 - http://www.iscar2011.org/eng/social_dinner_registration.php). All interested participants must confirm their reservation/registration within September 6th 2011 at the INFOPOINT located at Cavour Congress Center, Room Quirinale 3;

5. the online version of ISCAR 2011 General Program has been recently updated (September 1st 2011). You can take a look at it connecting to www.iscar2011.org. Considering that the print version of ISCAR 201 General Program was sent in press in July, some of its contents have changed. Therefore, every participant will be given an update-sheet together with the delegate pack. Meanwhile, you can download the updated online version from ISCAR 2011 website;

6. every author who has to settle the payment at the Congress’ registration desk is required to pay cash because we cannot provide any point of sale (POS) payment;
